    This is a sweet Victorian silverplate NAPKIN RING featuring a figural Kate Greenaway character – a young Girl dressed in a straw Bonnet tied with a bow under her chin, and an apron over her dress, tied at her back.  The ring is embossed all over with stars and there is an artist palette cartouche on the top – Not monogramed.  Circa 1890’s
    The only mark found is on the bottom under her dress – ‘032’ – Maker identified as Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co – (see Figural Napkin Rings – by Lillian Gottschalk & Sandra Whitson – page #220, Plate 539).
